All-on-X
Start from $135/week*
All-on-X is a full-arch solution offered at Liberty Dental in Wheelers Hill and Mount Waverley, restoring smiles with fewer implants, greater stability, and durable, natural-looking outcomes.

Fewer Implants. Full Arch.
When multiple teeth are failing or already missing, All-On-X offers a fixed, secure alternative to traditional dentures. This approach uses just four implants to support a full arch of replacement teeth. At Liberty Dental, we work closely with trusted surgical specialists and dental laboratories to support both the function and appearance of your smile. All done with comfort, care, and a treatment plan built around you.
Full-Arch Replacement,
Built to Function.
All-On-X is a fixed dental implant treatment designed for patients missing all or most of their teeth in the upper or lower arch. Instead of placing one implant per tooth, this treatment uses just four strategically angled implants to anchor a custom full-arch bridge.
The implants are surgically placed by a specialist, and the final restoration is crafted by Liberty Dental. The result is a stable, natural-looking set of teeth that restores chewing function and supports facial structure. In many cases, this treatment also reduces the need for bone grafting, making it suitable for patients who want a lasting treatment with fewer surgical stages.

Is All-On-X the Right Option for You?
All-On-X may be a suitable option if you have significant tooth loss affecting your daily function, or if you have been advised that dentures are your only alternative. This treatment provides a fixed restoration designed to support stability, function, and appearance. It is particularly beneficial when removable options feel limiting or uncomfortable.
You may be a suitable candidate if:
- You are missing most or all of your teeth in the upper or lower jaw
- You are experiencing ongoing difficulty with removable dentures
- You have been told you are not suitable for traditional implants
- You want a fixed restoration that supports function and appearance
- You want to avoid multiple surgeries or bone grafting
- You are comfortable undergoing treatment under general anaesthetic
We guide you through each step, from consultation to the final fit. Whether you are seeking better function, improved appearance, or relief from removable dentures, we focus on delivering a long-lasting restoration that functions well and looks natural.
The Liberty Dental Full-Arch Journey
Your All-On-X journey at Liberty Dental is carefully coordinated in partnership with specialists to keep your experience supported, clear, and carefully planned.
-
Initial Consultation
We begin with a full clinical assessment, including digital scans, photography, and an evaluation of your remaining teeth and bone levels.
-
Digital Smile Planning
Using Smilecloud technology, we preview your proposed outcome and map out the position of each implant and the shape of your final bridge.
-
Implant Placement
Implant will place under local or general anaesthetic, depending on your needs and comfort. We do everything implants, so you can relax knowing you’re in trusted hands from start to finish.
-
Provisional Bridge
In most cases, a temporary bridge is placed shortly after implant surgery so you leave with teeth the same day.
-
Healing and Integration
Over the next 3 to 6 months, your implants integrate with the bone, allowing for long-term stability. We monitor your progress closely during this period.
-
Final Restoration
Once healing is complete, we fit your permanent bridge, crafted to your preferences in colour, contour, and bite for a natural appearance and functional comfort.
We aim to keep every step of this process supported, explained, and delivered with attention to detail so that you feel informed and cared for throughout.

Risks and Recovery
All-on-X is a surgical implant procedure, and like all oral surgeries, it carries risks and requires recovery time. While many patients return to normal routines quickly, healing and implant integration can take several months.
Possible short-term effects include:
- Swelling and bruising around the gums and face
- Pain or discomfort for several days
- Temporary changes in speech or eating during adjustment
- Need for a soft-food diet during early healing
Potential risks and limitations include:
- Implant failure if integration with bone is unsuccessful
- Infection at the implant or surgical site
- Breakage or loosening of the provisional or final bridge
- Requirement for bone grafting if bone volume is insufficient
- Treatment duration may extend depending on healing progress
Recovery generally takes 3–6 months for implants to integrate fully before the final bridge is fitted. Your dentist will provide detailed aftercare and ongoing reviews to monitor healing and long-term stability.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is All-on-X different from traditional implants?
Traditional implant treatment often involves multiple surgeries and one implant per tooth. All-On-X uses just four implants to support a full arch of teeth, which reduces the need for bone grafting, shortens treatment time, and lowers overall cost. It may suit patients who need a full-arch restoration with fewer surgical stages.
Will I be without teeth during treatment?
No. In most cases, you will leave surgery with a temporary bridge already fitted to the implants. This means you will never be without teeth during the process. Once healing is complete, we will replace the provisional with your final, custom-designed bridge.
Is general anaesthetic required?
General anaesthetic is not always required, but many patients choose it for added comfort during full arch procedures. At Liberty Dental, this service is offered in-house and administered by a licensed anaesthetist in a fully accredited environment. If it is part of your treatment plan, we will guide and support you through every step.
