The first visit where we actually put on the aligners, that’s a longer visit that takes about an hour for us to put the attachments on and teach you how to put the aligners in and take them out. And, generally, after that we will see you every six to eight weeks and they are shorter visits, usually about 20 minutes long.

It’s where check how things are going, we do adjustments if we need to, take photos to make sure we keep track of how it’s all working out, and issue the next few aligners that you need. And we then make another appointment in about six or eight weeks.

The average is about eight weeks. Depending on what the change schedule is, it’s usually you take away between four and eight aligners at a time depending on if you’re on a weekly or fortnightly change schedule.
