Marian graduated from the University of Otago (New Zealand) with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2009.

Dentistry was the perfect career for her as it fulfilled her passion to serve people and also her passion for creativity. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in Implants, Oral Surgery and Orthodontic treatment. To further her Oral Surgery skills she moved to Melbourne especially to work in the Oral Surgery department of the Royal Dental Hospital. She did this for three years before moving back into private practice. Besides working in private practice, Marian also has a teaching role at the Melbourne University School of Dentistry.

She constantly keeps up with all the new developments in the dental field as she always wants to offer her patients the best and latest treatments. Some of her most noteworthy achievements include:

  • Diploma of Oral Implants through the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners (ACDP)
  • Two year program of comprehensive orthodontic training (EODO with specialist orthodontist Dr Derek Mahony)
  • Digital Smile Design (DSD) Mastership
  • Dental Sleep Medicine program Oral Appliance Therapy for Snoring, Sleep Apnoea & Bruxism (Dental Sleep Institute)

Marian is very good at making her patients feel at ease and makes it her priority to help them achieve a confident smile and keep them in good dental health. She established this practice in 2016 with an absolute commitment to providing the highest quality dental care. The vision that she instils in the team is to “treat our patients as family.”

Marian was part of a national research project run by the New Zealand Ministry of Health, looking at improving the Oral Health of older people. She strives to help her patients achieve good dental health no matter what life stage they are at.

Outside the dental world, Marian enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exploring Melbourne’s fine cafes.
